This combination kitchen and family room remodeling is exquisite from top to bottom.  We began with solid oak flooring, Homecrest maple cabinetry, and Wilson-Art beveled laminate countertops. The three tiered island includes a Kohler cast-iron enameled sink with Moen Monticello cathedral spout faucetry, almond colored Dal-tile backsplash with hand-painted decor tiles intermittently dispersed, GE Profile black appliances include a gas range, stainless-steel exhaust hood vented outside, electric double oven, refrigerator, dishwasher.  Adjacent to the new kitchen is the family room, newly appointed with berber carpeting.  You can see a photo of this in our Special Features area.

To improve the overall appearance of this kitchen, a new look was developed by installing new flooring and countertops.  The existing vinyl was removed from the kitchen, lavatory and utility rooms and replaced using Porcelainoso 14 inch marblized tiles with midnight blue grout.  The old laminate countertops were removed and replaced using Corian solid-surface material with a custom routed edgeband and a 22 x 33 inch white Corian solid-surface double well sink.  New Moen One-Touch faucetry with soap dispenser, and custom milled oak cove moulding completed the look.
